About Me

So I wont wast time with all the details of my life. Who really cares right? All you really want to know is whether or not I know what I'm doing with cars. I'll be the first to say I'm no professional with years of experience because that would be a damn lie. What I am, is a guy who graduated high school without a clue what I wanted to do in life so I figured "Why not work on cars?" So I went to Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and earned my Associates Degree in Automotive Technologies. I took every class they offered on cars and it was a blast. After that I went straight into a 4 year program at Catawba.

That's me there on the left with my whole family and
my new sister-in-law on the day of their wedding.

I've worked the same retail job at Tractor Supply for almost 7 years now and during two summers I worked at our local Subaru repair shop, Higgins Automotive. Most of my experience with serious repairs came from there. Everything else came from helping friends and tooling on my own cars. Which were:

1988 Honda Civic
- My first car and I sold it for $300 with 300,000 miles on it.

1992 Honda Civic
- This car was my toy and my baby. I bought it bone stock and modified the hell out of it, it was slow but fun! I did all sorts of work to it myself, from changing A/C and suspension components to basic maintenance. Regret ever selling it.

1984 Chevy K10 4x4 Truck
- Basically your average redneck mud truck. Loud, ugly, and fun. Regret selling it too, needed a truck a lot.

1988 Honda Civic
- Different car, never drove it, traded the truck for it then sold it. Nothing special. Haha

2001 Subaru Outback (current daily driver)
- Done a lot of work to this car as well. From changing the radiator and suspension upgrades to your basic maintenance.
